Locals Block Road in Protest Aimed at Decreasing Cargo Traffic

Gornja Radgona/Ljubljana, 15 June - Residents of six towns on the road between the towns of Lendava and Maribor in NE Slovenia, the main transport link for hauliers between Slovenia and Hungary, blocked on Friday all traffic for five minutes by repeatedly crossing the road at pedestrian crossings in a bid to cap the ever increasing number of lorries on the road.
