The electoral legislation, that is, its most important part - the law on elections to the State Chamber - has failed due to various pretenses: the pretense of defending constitutional rights, the pretense of unsuccessful similar electoral systems in the world, the pretense of ignoring the possibility of expressing the will of the people through referendum. It also failed due to the continual stressing of the need for elections by all parties, which claim that this is their first and only aim and that this year's elections would suit them perfectly, writes Meta Roglič in the morning edition of Delo.
