The Delo: Homo Balcanicus

Ljubljana, 18 July - The forty odd years or so in which the SFRY existed in this part of the Balkans, saw the development of Homo Balcanicus - a special sub-species of the human race, the characteristics of which can only be described in superlatives such as: the best, the richest, the most beautiful, clever and just, etc. This old fallacy still persists today, wrote Stane Ivanc in the Topic of the Day column of today's Delo.
