General Government Deficit Down to 2.2% of GDP

Ljubljana, 29 June - The general government deficit stood at 2.2% of gross domestic product (GDP) in the first quarter of this year, down 0.7 percentage points over the previous quarter. According to the National Statistics Office, this was expected considering the extraordinarily favourable economic conditions.
