Report on Position of Women in Slovenia

Slovenia has declared equality of sexes and in some fields it has enforced legislation which is worth using as a model, but this does not prevent marginalisation and discrimination of women. This is being confirmed by loud comments on feminisation of certain professions which causes reluctance towards women in some studies, which cannot be permitted. This was pointed out by female members of the Assembly Committee for Women Politics during today's discussion on the position of women in the Republic of Slovenia.
