Govt to Check on Progress in Savinjsko Region

Ljubljana, 10 July - The government is to visit the Savinjsko region in eastern Slovenia on Tuesday and Wednesday to check on progress since its last visit there nearly two years ago. At the time Prime Minister Janez Jansa said the region's biggest constraint was its road infrastructure, which according to the head of the local regional development agency, remains a problem.
