NLB Reports EUR 125M in Pre-Tax Half-Year Profit

Ljubljana, 31 July - Slovenia's largest banking group NLB posted a pre-tax profit of EUR 125m in the first half of 2007, a 60% increase over the same period last year. The core bank meanwhile posted a pre-tax profit of EUR 110.5m, which is 85% more than in the first six months of 2006, NLB said in a press release on Tuesday.
