80 Years Passing Since Death of Patriotic Priest Jakob Aljaz

Ljubljana/Mojstrana, 4 August - On 4 May 80 years passed since the death of Jakob Aljaz, a priest and dedicated mountaineer who bought 112 years ago from the local authorities the peak of Slovenia's highest mountain, Triglav. The peak became the symbol of the Slovenian nation and Aljaz will be remembered on Saturday in a special ceremony held just bellow the peak.
