Slovenia Celebrates Feast of the Assumption

Ljubljana, 15 August - Slovenia is on Wednesday marking the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the biggest holidays on the Church calendar and a national holiday in Slovenia since 1992. Special masses will be held in the major pilgrimage centres in the predominantly Catholic country.
