Slovenia Remembers Reunification of Prekmurje
Murska Sobota, 17 August - Celebrations will be held in Slovenia's northeastern-most region of Prekmurje on Friday to commemorate the reunification of the region with the mother nation in 1919. The ceremony, which is taking place for the second time since it was made into a national holiday in 2005, will be attended by Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik.
