Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 11-17 August

Ljubljana, 18 August - The heads of parliamentary groups met Prime Minister Janez Jansa on Friday, 17 August, and expressed their support to the cabinet in its future plans to seek a solution to open issues between the two countries. The reunification of the region of Prekmurje with the motherland was also celebrated on that day, while Slovenian Bishops broached numerous topical issues at holy masses celebrating Assumption Day on Wednesday, 15 August.
