Spain to Take In One Hundred Refugee Children

Ljubljana, 30 July - Representatives of the Spanish organization, the Movement for Peace, Disarmament, and Freedom, (the strongest such organization in Spain),which has arranged for one hundred refugee children from former Yugoslavia to spend their holidays in Spain this August, stressed the humanitarian meaning of this symbolic gesture at a press conference today in Ljubljana. The aim of the action is to make the Spanish public aware of the scope of the tragic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to encourage increased aid to the refugees.
