Government adopts the renomination of budget

Ljubljana, 30 July - Slovenian government adopted the renomination of the budget at its today's session because the analyses showed that the budget deficit by the end of the year, with this rate of inflation, would rise from 18 to 40 or 50 billion SIT, stated Slovenian Minister of Finance Mitja Gaspari at the press conference held after the session.
Minister Gaspari also stated that the EBRD invited Slovenia to become its member. Slovenia gave its consent and according to Mr. Gaspari this is the first serious step towards cooperation and membership in international financial institutions.
