Polka Musician of Slovenian Descent Gets Square in Cleveland

Cleveland, 22 August - The city of Cleveland has paid a tribute to Frankie Yankovich (1915-1998), a polka musician with Slovenian roots, by naming a city square after him. The square between the 152th street and Waterloo street was named after "America's Polka King" on an initiative by a city councillor of Slovenian descent, Mike Polensek.
