Lojze Peterle said to representatives of the Slovenian nation of "Three Slovenias" gathered in ┼Żabnice that he held an optimistic view with regard to the development of Slovenia by the end of this millennium, that Slovenians would acquire great material wealth, that we could compete with much more developed European countries, but all that we need to do was use our proverbial diligence, inventiveness and knowledge at home or abroad, writes Vojko Cuder in today's edition of Primorske novice.
