Safe Functioning of Slovenian Nuclear Power Plants

Ljubljana, 4 August - All nuclear facilities in Slovenia operated safely in 1991, concluded the National Administration for Nuclear Safety (RUJV) in this year's annual report on nuclear safety in the functioning of the nuclear facilities in Slovenia during 1991. Apart from the threat of attack on the Krško Nuclear Power Plant at the beginning of the war last July, which falls into a different risk category, there were no exceptional occurrences within the power plant which could have caused situations bordering on the limits of safe functioning.
