Insurance Agencies to Cancel all Discounts

Ljubljana, 7 August - In keeping with a government resolution, all insurance agencies in Slovenia will reduce the compulsory automobile insurance premiums to the level at which they were on August 3rd, but unless the Government annuls an ordinance freezing all insurance rates at the level prior to August 3rd, insurance companies will be forced to take additional measures, said representatives of Slovenia's insurance companies at a press conference today. For a start, said the representatives, these measures would include demanding payment of all automobile insurance in bulk (i.e. the cancellation of payment in rates) as well as the cancellation of all discounts on automobile insurance.
