50% Increase in Exports in First Half of Year
Ljubljana, 8 August - Slovenian Exports increased by 45.5% during the first half of this year, while imports only went up 9.8%, reports the Central Statistics Office of the Republic of Slovenia. During this time, Slovenia exported goods and services to the value of 2.78 billion US dollars, while imports were valued at 2.44 billion US dollars. The balance of exchange amounted to 340 million US dollars, while all imports were covered 114% by exports.
