Maribor Police Help Break International Drug-Smuggling Ring
Maribor, 1 October - Maribor criminal police have apprehended members of an international crime ring who smuggled over 12 tonnes of a drug precursor from Europe into Turkey. The substance, acetic anhydride, could be used to produce more than 30 tonnes of heroin with a street value of at least EUR 270m, police official told the press in Maribor on Monday.
