Velenje, 3 October - Gorenje Velenje started their Handball Champions League campaign (Group H) on Wednesday with a crushing defeat at the hands of Pick Szeged of Hungary 17:29 (4:14). In the second round of competition the Slovenian team will play HC Meshkov Brest in Ukraine on Friday.
