Experts Meet in Bled to Fight Light Pollution

Bled, 5 October - The 7th European Symposium for the Protection of Night Sky opened on Friday in the lakeside resort of Bled in a bid to promote measures which would reduce light pollution to 25% of the current level and facilitate the adoption of an European directive on light pollution. The two-day event, which is attended by 230 experts from 17 countries, is organised by the Slovenian NGO "For a Dark Sky".
