Disappointed Investors Send Stocks Tumbling

Ljubljana, 11 October - The disappointment of investors in the price offered by energy group Petrol for the Istrabenz holding on Wednesday prompted an extensive sell-off among Slovenian blue chips on Thursday. Istrabenz was the biggest loser, falling more than 9%, while Petrol shed nearly 4% to drag the SBI 20 benchmark index 310.51 points lower to 11,592.44. The SBI TOP index of the ten biggest blue chips was down 69.59 points at 2,519.79.
