EU Summit Seeks Agreement on Reform Treaty

Brussels/Lisbon, 17 October - EU heads of state and government, including Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa, are to convene an informal two-day summit in Lisbon starting on Thursday. The summit, which will try to reach agreement on the new reform treaty, is taking place in an optimistic atmosphere despite the fact that some issues remain open.
