Slovenia Commits to Reducing Biodiversity Loss

Ljubljana, 16 October - The state secretaries of the agriculture and environment ministries and the head of the World Preservation Union (IUNC) Tamas Marghescu signed on Tuesday in Ljubljana a declaration for biodiversity called "Countdown 2010", which aims at reducing loss by 2010, the Environment Ministry said in a press release.
