Croatia: Decommissioning Fund Up and Running by Year End

Ljubljana, 16 October - Croatia intends to establish a fund for the decommissioning of the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK), which it owns jointly with Slovenia, by the end of the year, a Croatian government spokesperson told STA on Tuesday. Croatia's failure to establish the fund had prompted Slovenia to threaten arbitration proceedings, but the latest move has been welcomed.
