European Commission Takes Action Against Slovenia in Three Areas
Brussels/Ljubljana, 17 October - The European Commission sent a reasoned opinion to Slovenia on Wednesday because the country allows only its own citizens to pursue the profession of notary. Two more infringement proceedings were launched against Slovenia: over its failure to submit its Energy Efficiency Action Plan and for exceeding EU limits on ambient concentrations of sulphur dioxide.
