Slovenian Neoclassicist Legend to be Exhibited in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 24 October - The National Gallery is to host a special exhibition of works by Slovenian neoclassicist painter Franc Kavcic (Francesco Caucig) from 24 October to 10 February 2008. The works have been obtained by the gallery in its quest to buy the works by this legendary Slovenian artist, who worked in Italy and Austria and is considered an important figure in the European neoclassicist movement.
