Ministry, Minority Pleased with Passing of Friuli Minority Law
Ljubljana, 24 October - The Slovenian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday welcomed the passing of a bill protecting the Slovenian minority by the parliament of the Italian border region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. "The move rounds off the legal framework giving Slovenians in Italy better possibilities for growth and helping to preserve the Slovenian language and culture," the ministry said.
