MEP Says Jansa's Proposal for Serbia not Viable
Strasbourg, 24 October - Libor Roucek, the vice-chairman of the European Parliament's Committee for Foreign Affairs, has assessed that it would be technically impossible to grant Serbia the status of an EU candidate in the first half of 2008, as suggested by Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa.
