Slovenia Hails Schengen Zone Expansion as Great Achievement

Brussels, 8 November - EU justice and home ministers on Thursday endorsed the expansion of the Schengen passport-free zone to nine new member states on 21 December, a landmark decision that was greeted by Slovenian Interior Minister Dragutin Mate as a "new value in travel within Europe's no-border zone."
