Central Banker: Loans Among Reasons for Inflation

Brussels, 28 November - Central Bank chief Marko Kranjec told a debate on Slovenia's experience with the euro in Brussels on Tuesday that loans were playing a part in Slovenia's high inflation rate. Because of the high inflation, real interest rates are in some cases negative, which is fuelling demand for loans, Kranjec said.
