Kuusamo, 1 December - Slovenia's best cross country skier Petra Majdic took her first World Cup victory of the season in Saturday's classic sprint event in Kuusamo. The 27-year-old Majdic crossed the finish line with a healthy lead over Astrid Jacobsen of Norway and Alena Prochaskova of Slovakia.
