Unfavorable Business Results

Ljubljana, 26 August - The Slovenian economy cannot recuperate this year, so we cannot expect a favorable annual balance sheet, said Igor Omerza, the director of the SDK (Social Accounting Service). He warned about the insolvency which is even more serious than it was last year. In December last year, 1006 companies employing 180,057 people had their accounts blocked for more than 5 days. In July this year there were 1766 companies with the blocked accounts. Those companies employ 200,350 employees, 38% of the total number of employees in Slovenia.
