Slovenec: Bitter Issues

Ljubljana, 27 August - The negotiations in London might prove successful now that the Serbs have achieved all they wanted. They even managed to send Ćosić and Panić to London. The Serbs stopped or reduced armed conflicts in Croatia the moment they obtained everything they planned to; and the UN's presence provided assurance that the Croats were not going to launch a counter-offensive. If the events in Bosnia-Herzegovina take a similar course, the Serbs will agree to a protectorate, writes Marjeta Šimunič in tomorrow's Slovenec.
