Tartini's Violin in Venice
Piran, 29 August - At the celebration of the 300th anniversary of birth of Piran born violinist Giuseppe Tartini, his valuable Amati violin was handed to the representatives of the Venice town authorities. The violin will stay there for one month and it was transported to Venice with one of the eight sailing boats.
