Delo: An Incident or a War

Ljubljana, 9 November - Delo's commentator Veso Stojanov writes today about the possible implications of the clash between the Macedonian police and a group of Albanians last Friday in Skopje. The author describes Macedonia as the only former Yugoslav republic which started building its sovereignty in peace. On the other hand, it is also experiencing grave difficulties because of this sovereignty. Macedonia's geographical location, diverse national structure, economic weakness, and especially the historical circumstances are reasons why its neighbors try to cripple almost every step it takes.
