Večer: The Monster Walks Around Europe

Ljubljana, 10 November - In today's Večer, Dragica Korade writes about the hate and intolerance that has recently re-emerged across Europe. "If the European agenda of human atrocities", says the author, "included only the Balkan wars, we could concede to ridiculous explanations that present evil originates from some a priori Eastern talent for cruelty, or, from some civilizational inferiority of the Balkan nations. However, the Sunday events in Berlin and Trieste, where new Fascists again promoted traditional Fascist goals, again warned us that hate and intolerance towards 'the different' are of no specific national or geographical origin".
