Večer: Why Defend Sarajevo?

Ljubljana, 17 November - A cease-fire in Sarajevo has been established because of the evacuation of people living in Sarajevo rather than for military reasons. Townspeople are preventing a final successful action of aggression with their lifes. After their evacuation, another conflict between the town's defenders- Moslems and Croats- might break out, causing a partial retreat of military units from defense posts and the consequent quick fall of Sarajevo, says Bojan Bauman in his comments today.
