Dr Rupel: The process of building a new state is over, a new era begins

Ljubljana, 18 November - The first meeting of a mixed committee composed of Slovenia and EFTA began in Ljubljana at Cankarjev Dom. It was in the frame-work of this committee that Slovenia, on the 22nd of May signed a declaration of cooperation. Presiding at the meeting, the Slovenian Foreign Minister, Dr. Dimitrij Rupel, in his opening speech emphasized that the meeting was an indication that the process of building the new state was over, and that a new era has now begun.
