A Common Committee of Slovenia and EFTA established a Subcommittee to Carry out the Declaration

Ljubljana, 18 November - The first session of a common Commission of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and Slovenia was held today in Ljubljana. Both delegations examined the work which has been done up to now - the econmic participation between the seven EFTA members and Slovenia. The establishment of a special subcommittee responsible for executing principles of the Declaration, signed on May 22, 1992 between EFTA and Slovenia, is the most important result of today's session. This was the opinion of Dr. Dimitrij Rupel, Slovenian delegation's chairman and the president of this session.
