January - 1.1 Percent Increase In Industrial Products' Prices

Producer prices of industrial products in January 1995 increased by 1.1 percent compared to December 1994, and by 18.2 percent compared to January 1994. According to the National Office of Statistics, in January the production of leather and fur saw the sharpest increase in prices which were higher by 18.3 percent compared to last December and by 45.7 percent compared to last January. Producer prices of electricity, oil derivatives, metals, construction materials, footwear, processed food, and tobacco in January remained unchanged compared to last December.
