Delo: Poker in Geneva

Ljubljana, 28 December - Mr. Cyrus Vance and Lord Owen are optimistic about the end of the war in the Balkan, and are convinced that this time endeavors will not be in vain. Before the new round of discussions in Geneva, they made their way from Pontius to Pilatus, visiting Gali, Tuđman, Izetbegović, and Boban. Lord Owen spent a few days at Pale to talk to Raladžić and General Mladić, accompanied by the president of their internationally unrecognized state, writes Peter Potočnik in today's Topic of the Day column.
