Janez Drnovšek elected as head of government

Ljubljana, 13 January - By secret ballot, the representatives of the State Chamber elected Dr. Janez Drnovšek as the new head of government. He won with 48 votes. The President of the State Chamber, Herman Rigelnik, stated that 87 representatives participated in the elections; there were three invalid votes.
