Umek: Slovenia must not become an oasis of international transport

Ljubljana, 22 January - Slovenia must not become a transport oasis, said the candidate for the post of Minister of Transport and Communications, Igor Umek. This could happen if we merely watched new European road and other transport currents bypass Slovenia on their way to Austria, Italy, Hungary and Croatia. The commission gave unanimous support to Igor Umek as a candidate for the post of transport minister.
