Pučnik courting Socialists, Democrats, the Associated List, and the Greens

Ljubljana, 17 February - SLOVENIA/SOCIAL/DEMOCRATS/INITIATIVE
The Social Democratic Party of Slovenia (SDSS), whose president, Jože Pučnik, two years ago ran for president of Slovenia and was later leader of the Demos coalition, is now celebrating its fourth anniversary. Today it sent an initiative proposing the forming of a central Slovenian social democratic political force to four parties of the centre-left: the Socialist Party, the Democratic Party, the Associated List, and the Greens of Slovenia.
