Danilo Tuerk Inaugurated as President

Ljubljana, 22 December - Danilo Tuerk was sworn in as president at a ceremonial session of the National Assembly on Saturday, becoming the third head of state since Slovenia gained independence. The formal handover of office from his predecessor Janez Drnovsek is scheduled for tomorrow.
