Zares MPs Call for Referendum on Provinces

Ljubljana, 9 January - The Zares deputy group on Wednesday filed a proposal for a referendum on provinces, in which voters would decide on the government's proposal that Slovenia be divided into 14 provinces. Local Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar meanwhile said the referendum was unnecessary.
