Govt Passes Amendments to Waters Act

Ljubljana, 6 March - The government adopted on Thursday amendments to the waters act, bringing it in line with EU legislation which includes the Bathing Water directive and the Floods Directive. The amendments also introduce compensation for water protection areas, Environment Ministry State Secretary Mitja Bricelj told the press.
