Leading Insurer Doubles Profit in 2007

Ljubljana, 2 April - Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav increased net profit by 102% to EUR 43m in 2007 year on year, prompting chairman Andrej Kocic to assess on Wednesday the company's operations as successful. Triglav moreover collected EUR 708.3m in gross premiums and paid out EUR 367.6m in damages, the press were told in Ljubljana.
