Social Agreement on Salary Policy to Be Signed on 23 March

Salaries, signing of a social pact and an agreement on salary policy are the issues that recently stirred up a heated discussion in Slovenia. Both the documents were to have been signed at the beginning of this year by all three social partners: the government, employers (the Association of Employers of Slovenia, the Trade Chamber of Slovenia and the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia) and employees (trade unions - the Association of Free Trade Unions - ZSSS, Confederation 90, Independence - Confederation of New Trade Unions and Pergam). After almost three months of coordination and this week's discussion at the Economic Social Council, the partners agreed to sign the documents on 23 March.
